This Privacy Policy explains how BabbleSports ("BabbleSports", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit our guide and information sites at trend.babblesports.com, info.babblesports.com, search.babblesports.com and lp.babblesports.com (each a "Site" and together the "Sites"). It also explains the choices you have about cookies and advertising and how to exercise your privacy rights. Please read it together with our Terms of Use and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Sites.

1. Who we are

The Sites are owned and operated by Web Cue LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (Delaware State File Number 7576591) with its registered office at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, United States. Web Cue LLC also publishes babblesports.com. Web Cue LLC is the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information collected automatically

When you visit a Site, our servers, our hosting provider (DigitalOcean), our content delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) where it is in use, and the third-party services described below automatically receive technical information sent by your browser or device, including:

• your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (country, region or city level);
• browser type and version, operating system, device type, language and screen size;
• the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, how long you stay, how far you scroll and the links and buttons you click;
• the website or advertisement that referred you to us and, where available, the campaign or search terms involved;
• cookie identifiers and similar identifiers described in section 3 and in our Cookie Policy.

2.2 Information you give us

• Messages: if you email us or use a contact form, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message, and use them only to respond to you.
• Quiz and tool answers: some pages include short quizzes or selectors (for example, choosing a topic or country so we can show a relevant guide). Your answers are used to show you the matching content during your visit. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any government, financial or account identifier in these quizzes, and we do not sell your answers.

We do not require you to create an account, we do not take payments on the Sites, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as health information, government ID numbers, bank or card details.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We and our partners use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies for these purposes:

• Strictly necessary: to deliver pages, remember your consent choices, balance traffic and protect the Sites against fraud and abuse.
• Quiz cookie: a short-lived first-party cookie that remembers where you are in a quiz and which answers you chose, so the next page can show you the relevant result. It contains no name or contact details and expires automatically within 24 hours.
• Analytics: our own first-party analytics and, where used, Google Analytics (see section 5).
• Advertising and measurement: cookies and pixels set by Google, other advertising vendors and Meta to serve and measure ads (see sections 4 and 6).

Full details, and instructions for blocking or deleting cookies in your browser, are in our Cookie Policy. If you block all cookies, some features of the Sites (such as quizzes) may not work as intended.

4. Advertising

The Sites are free to use because they are supported by advertising. Ads on the Sites are served through Google Ad Manager, an advertising service provided by Google LLC, via our advertising partner ActiveView, which manages ad sales on our behalf. Google, ActiveView and their partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, cap how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud and, where you have consented or where permitted by law, show ads based on your interests.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to the Sites or to other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to the Sites and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at any time in Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com.
• You can read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and how Google uses cookies in advertising at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on the Sites through Google Ad Manager. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policies. You can opt out of interest-based advertising by many of these vendors at:

Where the law requires your consent before personalised ads are shown (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), personalised ads are shown only after you give consent through the consent message on the Sites. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time by using the privacy or cookie settings link on the Sites, or by clearing your cookies and revisiting. If you do not consent, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.

Advertisers do not receive your name or contact details from us when you view or click an ad. Our full approach to advertising is described in our Advertising Disclosure.

5. Analytics

First-party analytics. We run our own analytics to understand how the Sites are used. It records the pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, clicks, the referring site or campaign, device and browser type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this information only to measure and improve the Sites and our advertising performance. We never sell this data, and we do not use it to identify you by name.

Google Analytics. We may also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, which uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, how you arrived and your approximate location. Google processes this data under its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

6. Meta Pixel

The Sites use the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (and, for users in Europe, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). When you visit a Site, the Meta Pixel may send Meta information such as the page you viewed, actions you take on the page (for example scrolling, clicking, viewing content or viewing an ad), your IP address, browser information and Meta cookie identifiers. We use this to measure the effectiveness of our own advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to reach people who may be interested in our guides. Meta may link this information to your Meta account if you have one, under its own policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.

You can control how Meta uses this information for ads in your Meta Ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences, and you can block the Meta Pixel by refusing advertising cookies in our consent message (where shown), using the opt-out tools in section 4, or blocking third-party cookies in your browser.

7. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• operate, maintain, secure and improve the Sites and their content;
• show you the guide or quiz result that matches your choices;
• deliver and measure advertising, which funds the Sites;
• measure the performance of our own marketing campaigns;
• understand which guides readers find useful;
• respond to your messages and requests;
• detect and prevent spam, invalid ad traffic, fraud, abuse and security incidents;
• comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

8. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on:

• Consent for non-essential cookies, personalised advertising, the Meta Pixel and analytics where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests in operating and securing the Sites, measuring aggregate usage, serving non-personalised advertising, preventing fraud and responding to enquiries, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Legal obligation where we must keep or disclose information to comply with the law.

9. How we share information

We share information only with:

• service providers that host, protect and help us run the Sites, such as DigitalOcean (hosting) and Cloudflare (domain name, content delivery and security services);
• advertising and measurement partners described in sections 4 to 6 (including Google, ActiveView and Meta), which may collect data directly from your browser under their own privacy policies;
• law enforcement, regulators or other parties where required by law, to protect our rights or others' safety, or to investigate fraud or abuse;
• a successor if the Sites or our business are sold, merged or reorganised, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some US state laws treat sharing cookie data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising as a "sale" or "sharing". You can opt out of that using the tools in sections 4 and 6, by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, or by contacting us as set out in section 12.

10. International transfers

The Sites are read worldwide, and we and our providers (including Google, Meta, Cloudflare and DigitalOcean) process data in the United States and other countries. Where data about users in the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred outside those regions, we and our providers rely on safeguards recognised by law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Data retention

• Server and security logs: typically no more than 90 days, unless needed longer to investigate an incident or comply with the law.
• First-party analytics: kept in event-level form for no more than 25 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated so it no longer relates to an individual device.
• Quiz cookie: expires automatically within 24 hours.
• Emails you send us: kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards.
• Data collected by Google, Meta and other partners: retained under those partners' own policies.

12. Your privacy rights

GDPR and UK GDPR (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
• rectify inaccurate data;
• erase your data;
• restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
• data portability, receiving your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
• lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. EEA authorities are listed at https://www.edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en; in the UK, contact the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk.

CCPA / CPRA (California) and other US state privacy laws

If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you have the right to:

• know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and to access it;
• delete personal information we have collected from you;
• correct inaccurate personal information;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural (targeted) advertising;
• limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it);
• not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as IP address and cookie IDs), internet or network activity (pages viewed and interactions) and approximate geolocation, from you and your device, for the purposes in section 7, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients in section 9. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Rights in other countries

Many other countries give you similar rights to access, correct and delete your data. We will honour those requests in line with the law that applies to you.

How to make a request

Email contact@babblesports.com with the subject line "Privacy Request", say which right you want to exercise, and describe how you interacted with the Sites (for example, the date you emailed us). Because we do not ask visitors for names or accounts, we may need information from you, such as a cookie ID shown in your browser, to find data linked to your device. We will respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires, and will tell you if we need more time. You may use an authorised agent, in which case we may ask for proof of that authorisation.

13. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Where our advertising partners' technology recognises a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, it is treated as a request to opt out of personalised advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information. As there is no common standard for "Do Not Track" signals, the Sites do not otherwise respond to them. The opt-out tools above work regardless of your browser settings.

14. Children

The Sites are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed at children under 16 (or under 13 in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including HTTPS encryption on every page, firewalled servers, restricted administrative access and regular software updates. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, partners, technology or the law. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make material changes we will post a notice on the Sites. Your continued use of the Sites after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
